Front cover
I used a variety of tools for the effect of my front cover as the production was in the process.
(IMAGES AS SEEN ABOVE)
Image 1
Firstly i chose the picture that i would use on my front cover. I then erased out the background to that it was clear white. I then left a shape at the top of the picture which i would then be able to drag over the magazine title for the logo.
Image 2
I inserted the magazine title name RAIDER onto the magazine. I also needed to erase the back ground for this, and make it transparent.
there were many names that i took into account for my magazine such as :
- Music mayhem
- Dirt
- Raider
- Raydar
I found that the original name that i was going to use 'music mayhem' had already been taken, and through asking friends raider was the most common awnser for the best name for my magazine.

I inserted two black rectangles at both the top and the bottom of the page to make the magazine bolder ands stand out more.

IN most magazines they have there headlining bands name beneath there image and so i chose to do tis as-well.
The style of the writing is in a typewriting format, Classing the band as original and new but presented and old school style to it aswell.
Image 5
Once the artists name was on the magazine i felt that i couldn't see it as clearly as id like so i placed a backdrop behind it to make it stand out more clearly, although i still made the backdrop transparent enabeling the reader to stioll see all of the image clearly.
Image 6
To the right of the magazine i made it look like ink was running accros the cover. The reason i placed this there is because it looked plane. More colour needed to be present on the cover. The paint also represents artistic flare and creativity, a message that my audience should be attracted to.
Image 7
I inserted a barcode onto my main page. For retail purposes only, this is used to sell the product in stores.
image 8 - 9
I have places the article names and headlines on my magazine, this is the same in image 9
